Recycled chip oil runs truck fleet

Great to see an eco-friendly success story. A Dubai-based company that already helps McDonald’s UAE run its entire fleet of trucks from oil used to make its French fries (who knew) have now cooked up a similar deal with the fast-food firm in Australia.

Neutral Fuels’ ground-breaking facility at Dubai Investment Park has the capacity to produce one million litres of biodiesel per annum. And McDonald’s isn’t the only firm to use Neutral Fuels in the UAE – vehicles at the Atlantis Hotel also run on recycled cooking oil from the kitchens of the luxury hotel’s 16 restaurants.
